As with all previous reports Merchants Credit Guide / Ken Hughes, (MCG Co./Ken Hughes) has continued to pursue collections illegally and with insulting persistence.
Upon returning one of the numerous automated messages to contact Ken Hughes, we were rudely confronted with a debt that had previously been settled with another collection agency. Furthermore, the statue of limitations for legal action in our state has long since past. After repeated request for MCG Co./Ken Hughes to cease and desist their harassment, they have not only ignored, but also blatantly returned to their previous practices.
We are now receiving up to four calls per week, with the same automated message. After receiving one this morning, we respectfully returned the call and once again requested MCG Co./Ken Hughes to end this insulting barrage of calls and threats. Once again, we were treated to the most unprofessional assault on our character and financial discretion. Something needs to be done to end this organizations unscrupulous business practices.

I have dealt with these fools. They are very easy to get rid of.
Have you ever heard that turnabout is fair play?
Do you have unlimited long distance and a fax machine? If so, you are all set.
Prepare a cease communications request as per your rights under the FDCPA. make 100-150 copies of it. Send this each night immediately after MCG Co coses for the evening until you get an error message. This means you have successfully ran out the toner and/or paper in thier fax machine, and probably filled the memory too.
Now they cannot say they did not get it, and I guarantee you that you will not hear from them again.
I did it, and it works.
