Merry Maids ripoff, dishonest, price gouging, outrageous price increases, liar, do not patronize, trying to make a quick buck, no loyalty to good paying customers, scam, sham, Lawton Oklahoma

I was currently paying $178.00 a month for a one-time a month housecleaning service. I knew I was paying more but I knew they were bonded and dependable. I decided to change my service to bi-monthly which changed my rate to $118.00 every other week. We agreed. She then called back several hours later and said that the rates had gone up and it was taking longer to do my house, and that I had added on additional rooms, etc...It was a bunch of crap!

I have a large living room that I placed a dining room table in. Yes, it turned it into a dining room but the original square footage of my house has not changed. Square footage is what prices are based on. Well, here is the kicker, my rate went up $50.00 a month!!! I think since I was requesting bi-weekly she thought I would pay more, well I said at those prices, no thank you!

I had been a loyal paying customer since May 2005. I quit using their services this month in October of 2006 over this. I don't neccesarily think it is the franchise but the franchisee. She is obviously price gouging for a reason...one I am not privy to.
