Received a letter from Micro Financial Inc, with contact person Josh Mathias at 778-858-1636 informing me I won $129K in an International general market survey draw held on March 4th, 2010, and enclosed was a very legit looking check for $3859 drawn on a company named www.clasinfo.com in Sacramento, CA. The check was supposedly to pay the taxes on my winnings! The winnings were to be delivered by courier. The letter was signed by a Freddy Brandon, Manager.

Being a low-income senior, I was so excited at first, but decided to check online before making any calls, and to my dismay found out it is a scam.

I just wonder how they intended to rip me off. I hope the are somehow caught and brought to justice for preying on innocent, hard working folks like me, who have very limited income.
