i had a hearing for ssi disability.  ssi kept saying my disabilities were caused from my drug and alcohol abuse. that if i quit using drugs and alcohol that i wouldnt have these disabilities. i have had these disabilities since i was a child. hadm them way before i ever abused drugs and alcohol. i also have gottn a couple others that drugs and alcohol has nothing to do with. mainly psoaritic arthuritis. never once did my representation point out that these medical conditions bi-polar, adhd,were from childhood. dr,s didnt even know what they even were then. never did representation point out that with my conditionig getting worse and the meds that im taking its impossible for me to work. even if i were able to i would be jeaperdising my safety and other. my representation barely said anything.
