The above mentioned "Dead Beat Dad" Has not paid regular child support in the last 5 years. He has been court ordered to pay 1/2 of medical bills and he will not even do that. He has also been court ordered to pay $8 per week in medical insurance, He will not do that. He has not worked a steady job in 4 years to help contribute to the upbringing of his son with me or his other son by his ex-wife. Mike Collins owes me a Judgement in the amount of $2225 for other issues. Mike Collins is a man that likes to make babies but not help take care of them or contribute to their financial needs.

I know it's only been a month, but it's great that he started to be a part of his son's life and help out financially the way that he's supposed to. God bless, and happy holidays.

As a single mother myself, I truly understand the frustrations of non-payment of child support. I sympathize with you and your child. What worked for is getting the Child Support Enforcement Agency involved. They intercept tax returns, put liens on various financial incomes/properties and send out orders for withholding. There is no cost to the custodial parent for doing such. Good luck.

Mike Collins has a hard time holding down a job ever since he has been required to pay Child Support for his 2 children. He rarely pays child support and never pays for his childrens medical bills or for health insurance. He believes that the Government should be responsible for paying for his children. Mike's own family members, Mark Collins and Cathy (Kovar)Collins also feel that Mike should not have to help contribute to his children's financial needs. His family members have requested that I and Mike's other sons Mother do not take him to court any more for child support. They feel that we should work it out on our own becuase it is a waste of time and tax payers money. What they fail to understand is that Mike will not pay any support for his children if not forced to do so by the courts. unfortunately this requires going to court 4-5 times per year due to the lack of steady work by Mike.
