Mike Padilla RMD Financial Services Fraudulant Tax Return and Identify Theft San Dimas California

Mike Padilla prepared my tax return for the 2007 tax year.  He gave me my copies of both my Federal and California state returns.  Unbeknownst to me those were no the tax returns he submitted.  He submitted a fraudulant tax return with our names and his address and created a W-2 with his address.  Due to this falsfied tax return he received $8,496 from the IRS and $1,384  from the state.  These checks were mailed to his address at 358 Bonita Ave., San Dimas, CA.

In 2012 I discovered what Mike Padilla did and why the IRS had withheld money from our 2010 tax return.  The IRS said we failed to report a California state refund of $1,384 which was issued in our names but mailed to Mike Padilla's address.  I reported this to the IRS and took in all the documentation I had  collected.  The IRS did nothing and now they tell me that the statute of limitations has passed and there is nothing they can do.  The IRS dropped the ball and now Mike Padilla has received a total of $9,880 from the IRS and the State. I also notified the State Franchise Tax Board of what Mike Padilla did. and nothing was done

I have now reported this to Congresswoman Grace Napolitano's officem, but I don't think they will do anything.  Mike Padilla needs to be stopped and needs to make restitution to all those who he scammed.
