Minas Real Estate Dan Heskett Dan has money that doesn't belong to him and doesn't return messages Dallas, Internet

I submitted an inquiry to one of these 'buy your home fast' websites and was ultimately contacted by Dan Heskett.  He seemed trustworthy and helpful at first, but little did I know...  He discussed with me exactly how things would work, he would purchase the home and then find someone to occupy it.  The person that would occupy the home would be working with him on a loan, until their credit situation improved. 

Well, I signed the notorious warranty of deed and Dan took the liberty of evicting the current tenants of the home and moving his occupant into the home immediately.  The ink wasn't dry on the paperwork when Dan then disappeared.  The note is still in my name and he took more than $20,000 from the occupant of the home.  That is correct, roughly 22k.  Should I let the loan go into foreclosure, my credit is ruined and the occupant will be removed from the home.  Essentially, they drained their savings account with ABSOLUTELY nothing to show for it. 

Attempts to reach Dan have been futile.  It has been almost two years since this occurred and the last we heard from Dan was 23 months ago.  The occupant has documents and a voicemail saved where Dan communicates his intentions, as stated in the first paragraph.  The occupant of the home is a very good person, and has worked with me to keep the house payments current and has taken good care of the property.  However, the loan has nothing to do with them and they are out a lot of money.

We are seeking litigation and since we've found other complaints on this site, it seems like a good place to start drumming up support.  We have also submitted a complaint via the Federal Trade Commission, per the suggestion of the lender that holds the note on the property.  We hope to hear something back soon.
