After a long search for a German shepherd puppy, we were recommended to Mittelwest German Shepherd breeder. We purchased a German Shepherd puppy that arrived with tape and hook worms in his feces after he pooped in his crate during the flight. We immediately contacted Julie Martinez, with no answers to our many calls. We took the puppy to the vet the following day to find out that it had a terrible case of Giardea, Coxidia AND the fecal result came back positive for hook, tape and round worms also! Finally after hundreds of calls and legal action threats we got a call back from Julie, she refused to accept ANY responsibility for the poor health of the puppy, she refused to honor her guarantee and told us that we could return the puppy and pay for its return shipping and she would send us another as a replacement and we would be responsible for the shipping charges of the new puppy. We felt that this poor thing would go back to a nasty kennel and get sick again so we asked for a reimbursement of the vet bills. 3months later she refuses to return any calls or emails. STAY AWAY FROM MITTELWEST GERMAN SHEPHERDS! THEY'RE A PUPPY MILL AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!
