I have never used a payday loan program before, however I found myself in a tough financial situation. So I started to apply for one online. However, before finishing the application I had second thoughts. I erased every box that I had filled out & shut down my browser.

Then a few days later, I was looking over my bank statement online, only to see a charge for $29.99withdrawn by money leaf financial. I never agreed to any charge, and didn't even finish my application, amd never put in any of my bank information!

I was in a desperate situation, sick and needed to go to the dr, but could not afford it. I had several other bills that were due, or even past due. I only had $5.00 in my bank account. This company preys on people who are in need.

I was not contemplating this because I wanted to go shopping, or for frivolus reasons. And this company made an unauthorized withdrawl from my bank account which in turn put my account in the negative. So they caused a tough time to become even worse.

I tried to call the number that was associated wtih the charge on my statement, and it automatically goes into a recorded message about them being busy & to visit website if I am looking for a refund.

Really? That is the first thing they say, which to me screams that they know that they are in the wrong. I planned to stay on hold and wait to talk to someone, but after repeating the samething four times, it disconnected me.

My browser will not let me visit the website that they said I needed to go to for a refund, but plan to go to a friends house soon, so that I can try to get on to that website-  mlhelp.org.   I have called back several times in past few days, only to hear the same message, and the disconnected.

They are taking advantage of people, and it needs to stop. And I want to know how they got my bank information.
