MOR Furniture Purchased dining room set in June, still waiting for delivery in September! Tempe Arizona

My mother in law went to MOR Furniture and picked out a beautiful dining room set that included a large table, a hutch and a china cabinet. The table and chairs were delivered. Then the hutch. And she has been waiting since June for the china cabinet.

No one has called her to advise of the delay. Every communication, both in person and over the phone has been started by my mother in law.

The last she was told at the beginning of August was that her furniture piece was "on the boat". Because it was made in Germany, it had to be shipped by boat. That boat must have sunk, because the furniture has never arrived!

Today my mother in law visited the store again. The store has the china cabinet on display. She asked if they would allow her to have the floor model.

No! The manager refused to give her the floor model. Instead, she received another song and dance. When asked when the cabinet would be in, she was told the middle of September.

When asked for a guarantee, the Mor furniture employees refused.

How long should a customer go without receiving their product before getting concerned? Is three months excessive? We think so. Mor has their money. My mother does not have her product. And that to us, IS A RIP OFF!
