MOUNTAIN VIEW PEST CONTROL DID NOT GIVE ESTIMATE - DID NOT PERFORM THE WORK - AND CHARGED ME $495.00 - WOULD NOT LEAVE PROPERTY UNTIL PAID PHOENIX ARIZONA

SCAM – SCAM – SCAM!!!!

What occurred 10-22-18, left me ­­­­­­­­­­angry and violated.

I called Mountain View Pest Control to have someone come and give an assessment of possible bees on my roof.  Person on the phone said “we have someone in your area now and can come right away”.   They came out and I explained the situation and asked them to give me an estimate.   

One of the men went up on the roof.   When I mentioned to the other man I wanted to go up on the roof as well, I was told “you can’t do that.”  The other man came down within five minutes or less and said he was finished and treated the bees. To my knowlege, I saw no evidence of chemicals or equipment to treat the bees.  Then, I was told, the cost was $495.00.   I told him he was to give me an estimate only, not to perform any work.  He said “it’s done” and I was to pay him $495.00.  I said “no way.”  He said, he “was not leaving until he received payment.”  I felt threatened as they followed me around and would not leave.  I paid by credit card and they left.

Later my roofer and I and two other workers were on the roof to determine what was done, if anything.  There was no evidence of bees anywhere and no evidence of any work performed.  These two men walked away with $495.00 – they are a SCAM!!  They need to be apprehended and put in jail. 

I will be calling the Better Business Bureau and the Department of Agriculture to find out if these people are legitimate.
