I rented two movies and upon returning them, the kiosk was posted with an "out of order" sign.  I approached the supermarket manager and he instructed me to use the drop box, attached to the kiosk and to call the customer service number listed.  After doing so, the Customer Service rep told me that he would note my account and that the billing would stop and show the movies as returned as of that day.

Today, I attempted to rent another movie and got a message that in order to rent new movies, I need to pay an outstanding balance.  Thinking it's perhaps a dollar or two, I call the company's customer service number and was surprised to find out that they're actively attempting to collect a whopping $76.34 because apparently, "their system has sold me those 2 movies".  (note, I returned the movies 2 days after original rental date.) After I asked to speak to his supervisor and for him to check my call history, he then confirmed that their system had made a huge mistake.

He told me that he could not reverse the charge until the full amount of $76. was received by their company (from me), and at that point, they could then "refund" my $76 but that it would take 3 business days.

Now, I cannot use my debit card or add money to the account for fear that they'll take money that they're not entitled to, for any amount of days, muchless 3 business days.  I only want their system to acknowledge my returns and to stop further attempts to collect the $76 from my visa debit card so that I may use my card without having denials accumulating on my statements.
