I received an email about becoming a secret shopper for MSPA mystery shopping company. The email stated that they've been getting omplaints about a western Union and Money GRam locations in my area and need secret shoppers to investigate and report back.
The email said that I would be sent a money order that I am to take to my bank and cash then go to the Money Gram or Western Union and send the funds in cash to the location they specify while carrying out my comprehensive investigation.
I have worked as a banker for over seven years and have seen this so many times. The money order is always a fake and if the bank does accept it and gives you the cash, in a few days when the bank realizes it's a fake money order the funds will be deducted from you account whether you have it or not. YOu will be stuck with having to pay the bank back the amount of the money order.
