Well I guess I was not alone. I brought in my Camaro to Alice at muscle car city about a year ago to get it painted. I took out all the interior myself and most of the outside trim (bumpers, emblems, window trim etc). She told me she could do the job in 3-4 weeks for $4500 if I paid her for it upfront. I know that was dumb on my part!!! I left the car and called her 2 weeks later to she how it was going but she never returned my call so I drove down there to see what was going on. Front gate was locked but there were people working? Finally after standing there for 15 minute a guy comes to the gate and says Alice was not there. I explained that I was a customer and wanted to look at my car. He says he does not have the key for the gate. 2 minutes later Alice calls me upset and asks why I didn't let her know I was coming. I told her I did but you never called me back so I decided to stop by on my lunch hour. She then tells me that I will have to come back tomorrow.
I showed up the next morning and my car had not been touched so I asked her what the story was. She says don't worry it will get done on time.
Long story short I had nothing but problems after that. 3 months later I pick up my car. The paint job looked good from a distance but had a ton of dirt in the paint and a lot of orange peel. She tells me it will all come out after they wet sand it. NOT!! 2 weeks later I had it wet sanded with 1000 grit paper and the paint looked horrible. All the areas that had dirt in it started showing the primer underneath.
Alice never returned my calls and I made a few trips to go see her but the gate was always locked and she was never there but her red dodge truck was there????
Since I paid her cash (which see asked for) and never got a receipt I just figured it was a lesson learned.

I have to admit, I was skeptical after reading all the negative criticism of Alice Russell. After meeting her last fall, she explained that these negative criticisms were all just one person who felt she wronged him in some way. Whatever that case, I called a few of the references she provided. They mentioned if I was patient and could wait (she has small staff working for her), that I would be happy with the results. Her price was VERY reasonable, and her references seemed legitimate...so I took the chance and gave her my beloved 1966 Chevy Nova Wagon. I just got it back last week, and I'm SOOOO glad I took the chance with Alice and her staff. If I had room in my garage, I would buy another Nova and give it to her tomorrow. If you call her, ask her for her references and call me. Marty. I will show you before and after pics (all high resolution). If you want, I'll even show you the car. This guy that is out to tarnish her reputation is not a good person, and will someday have to answer to a higher power. I just don't understand why people spend so much energy on being negative and hurting people. Alice, again...thank you for the GREAT work you did with my Nova. You're the best!

This complaint is a Hoax and I demand proof that you ever did buisness with my Company.
The truth is all these reviews where posted by the same Person.
This person is Dave G.G. Please do not be Nave check the dates on the postings.
Is it not a little strange that all of the post's where done right after the other?
If at any time anyone wants to see the countless slanders, see photo's of the car he is complaining about, read the correspondence from my attorney or the State of California please let me know.
The internet can be one of two things a wonderful resource of information, or a way for hateful people to scam, terrorize, stalk, manipulate, slander, and or tell out right lies about products, people or companies. It is very unfortunate that some people depend upon words of a cyber space individual to base their decisions. There is always three sides of any story the complaint the rebuttal and the truth. The truth can be found by actually meeting a individual instead of looking into a screen.
