MUTUAL SECURITIES INC Beware Authentic looking check SCAM Midland, Ontario

I recieved this unmarked envelope today in the mail. When I opened it there was a check for 3980.00 in it. In bold letters at the top of the letter it read: "PRICE" WINNING MONEY/FINAL NOTIFICATION. Well needless to say the check caught my attention first then the typo "PRICE" instead of PRIZE, (i guess).

My story is very similar to all the ones on here. The check is very authentic looking but I had not entered into any contests etc. I wants me to pay the Gvoernment Taxes on my big winnings, but call before I do anything with the check.

Please let everyone you know, especially people on a fixed income and the elderly, this is horrible that they are allowed to send this stuff through the mail like this. I wish something could be done for this kind of JUNK mail.
