My Info Guard, Enhanced Billing, Unautherised phone charges Clearwater Florida

Received AT&T(Bellsouth) phone bill which included charges of $12.95 for Voice mail service. Called Enhanced Billing Inc. to see how this charge occurred. Turns out that Enhanced Billing is simply a call center under contract to My Info Guard and knows little about the Ripoff company. Managed to find address of Ripoff company and a promise to delete the charges complete with confirmation number. This charge was triggered when my wife answered a survey on the web and did not understand that she was signing up for a useless expensive service.

Called AT&T and find out that they have no idea who these copanies are or have any data on them they are apparently willing enablers for these fraudelent schemes. I was told that Federal Regulations require them to post these charges. I did find out that you can ask to have all other third party charges blocked which I did.
