I recieve a call today from a collection agency stating I owe $169. to myperfectcredit.com. I had signed up with this company for credit help in 2004 but cancelled the service two months later as they never help me with my credit. 9 months later they started to bill me again. I contacted my credit card company to let them know I had cancelled this service and that I did not want them to accept any more payments from them. I was told from the credit card company I would have to pay for the service up to this point and to cancel it again from then on they would refuse the charges. I agree to this just to move on with life, figured lesson learned.

But today I told by the collection agent that I owed $169. that I need to pay it, I told her the above information & she stated this same thing they had heard from 35 other people they had called today about myperfectcredit.com so this just a scam to try and get people to pay them more money.

I log into thier website saw that my account was "Closed Permanent" I also changed my information to fake info just for the hell of it. The funny part was when the collection agent told me that if I didn't pay them this go on my credit report and ruin my credit!

Hmm a credit repair company ruining my credit line? Gee why the heck do you think I was there for! My credit line sucked anyway.

Until today I had not heard any thing form them since 1/05 (when I cancelled my account for the third time) you would think they would called, emailed or snail mailed a bill or notice of some type. Funny the collection agent asked for $169. and the bill on website is $112.54 nothing like kicking extra for the agents trouble.
