They claim that I owe them $59.95 for a "cancellation fee" from MyPerfectCredit.com. I have never received anything from MyPerfectCredit.com.!
They refuse to validate this claim with written proof. So I am refusing to pay, as I well should. They are not operating within the law and should be treated as the criminals that they are.
It is interesting how our goverment, which we pay to protect us from these kind of things, looks the other way.;) Amazing what money can buy is'nt it?

Suggestion to Resolve

I recently had the misfortune of being ripped off by myperfectcredit.com as well. However, they agreed to refund my money.
I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau. They responded by giving me a complaint ID and an email address. I responded to the email address with my complaint ID, as well as the amount I would like to be refunded. They promptly emailed me back within the day, stating my credit card would be credited with the amount I had asked. I checked my credit card, and sure enough, it was credited.
So my advice is to file a complaint with the BBB.
I should add that, because I didn't want to deal with the hassle, I just payed 1st credit of america.

NYS residents must bond to get help

I filed a police report tonight, and was told to see if I could get more NYS residents to forward their complaints to the NYS AG office. According to the officer, the more New Yorkers that file a complaint the quicker the attorney general will act because he will be able to see how large this is.
File with the NYS attorney general, the FTC, and the FBIs internet fraud division. Please, it is worth a try.
