N.A.C.S. aka Preferred Merchants Rip off scam con artists, screwed others too victimized many consumers with false promises to help re-establish credit ratings. St. Petersburg Florida

A representative from this fraudulent company contacted me one evening. I originally told him I was not interested because a year prior I had been ripped off the same way by Telemark Consumer Services.

He assured me this was legitimate, and what a cool smooth talker he turned out to be. I am not a stupid person, I am a very intelligent business woman.

Well by the end of our conversation, he had all the info to debit my account $200!!! What a great deal that was, because I was going to get 2 $100 vouchers to pay down any balance for items I would be ordering.

It's bad enough I am trying to re-establish my credit, which to all of us means we don't really have the money in the first place if were willing to pay $200 for a credit card!!

Live and learn, and yes I am pissed off, mostly at myself. As the old saying goes "when it happens the first time, shame on them - when it happens the second time, shame on me"!!!!!

That doesnt mean I don't want my money back, I am out over $400 w/in the past year between Telemark and NACS both Florida companies.

I won't be stupid enough to fall for it a 3rd time. We like to be trusting of people, it is our nature. But I wouldnt give a telemarketer the time of day now if my life depended on it!!
