Napa AutoCare Amerikar Auto Repair Predator Attempts To Financially Rape Me For $1,500 worth of uncessary repairs! Turlock California

To All Concerned Parties:

From 2/22/2015 - 2/25/2015, or in the past few days ago, I noticed that my truck was leaking fluid that appeared to be radiator fluid. So, I went to this auto shop and spoke with the owner of Napa AutoCare (Amerikar) , Ninous (Nick) Sargony, aka Nick.
 
I said, "Nick my truck has a leak can you diagnose it" his response was yes. It should take a few hours and will find the problem. I said, "Okay lets do just that" and contact me.

He agreed. I was anxious, so I waited and then contacted him about 2-3hrs later. He said it's a "Timing Chain Cover Leak", so I said I would come down to speak with him in person.

When I arrived at his center, he confirmed the problem was due to timing chain cover. He said, it will be between $1300-1500 to complete the service and repair the problem. I said, how much do you think I can sell my truck because I don't want to invest good money into an older truck. His response was said lets check out Mitchell database and see there estimate. Next, he said I'll give you $875.00, which sounded too low.

I said to him, "let me think it over". After thinking about the amount he quoted, I went home and checked out Kelley Blue Book via internet and according to their website the estimated value for my truck was no more than $2900, so basically I could sell it for under $3k. I was thinking now that sounded more reasonable, my truck is in excellent condition. That was 2x more that what Nick told me.

Next, I drove down to his center again to give him a chance to explain why such a low offer for my truck. I told him,  "You offered me $875.00 to buy my truck, but Kelley Blue Book price was higher than what he quoted. I don't understand the difference. He told me, Mitchell is for dealers and auto shops to obtain estimates. I said hmmm....it appeared to me that he deducted the amount for repair from the price Mitchell price.

Based on my observation, his body language was showing signs of nervousness as I wrote notes down on my note pad. Then I said, hmmm...okay and you quoted me that the repairs would cost $1300-1500 to drop the engine to perform repair on my timing chain cover, he then said, did I say that...let me check my notes.

Again, I could tell by the tone of his voice and his body motions that he was being really nervous and I caught him lying to me. Nick said," let me speak with my mechanic". He came back in and then said," it was a rear main seal leak". Lie #1 So then proceeded to search his computer records to review his written notes. #2 His next response was our system purged my notes. Lie #3, That is not accurate, he must record in his database the services or diagnostics of my vehicle for record keeping.is a law breaker and liar!

His story changed 3x times and at this time I became very very upset because I gave him a chance to aplogize, but he continued to attempt to fabricate lies to protect himself. I said, "You are a lying, thieving, predator and that I will file a complaint against his auto center for engaging in unethical business practices.

Note: I researched the internet and found similiar complaints about him recommending unecessary auto repairs on http://www.yelp.com. So now, there is much more suspicious activity. For the record, Nick the owner has had a history of suspicous and unlawful business practices.

Who ever needs a trustworthy auto mechanic, DO NOT take your vehicle for auto repair to this owner.

He is very deceptive, greedy, a liar, and very predatorial. Take your business elsewhere. Matter of fact,

I am reporting him to the BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repair) a state agency of California that investigates complaints about dishonest auto repair shops. This predator has not heard the last of me yet!!!
