NAPower Their website said the rate would never go up, but a year later it quadrupled from $150/month to $1000/month! Ripoff!!!!!!! Norwalk Connecticut

 NAPower.com, North American Power is a liar. Their websites in 2011 said the rates .0899 would never go up.   Our bill was $150 per month.   A year later, we received a bill for $1000 for one month and never received a refund and tried to cancel and never got anyone to answer their phone and it kept continuing on from there.  Our provider West Penn Power said they could not do noithing. 

I caleld every month to debate the bill and try to get NAP off as a distributor to no avail.  It has been a horrendous situation, on the phone ad nauseum.  Finally a year and a half later we have a backlog bill of $1500 NAP billed to West Penn Power and they put us on a budget of $350 a month for that year and a half.  And we keep getting shutoff notices from them almost every month.  Do not sign on with NAPower.
