I was also ripped off from this company NLR. It has been 18 months now and no refund check. I also had a friend that was taken from these people. I wish there was a attorney out there, so we all could sue them. Never give money up front, people like this need to be put away.

I too was taken advantage by this company. I was referred to them by my mortgager that I have used for 2 home purchases and 4 refi's. Considering the realtionship with him, I trusted NLR and sat down with Ed Miller at a lawyers office in Southfield, Michigan received the show and pony speech everything sounded good, so I gave them the $2000.
If the shortsale didn't go through I would receive a $1500 refund. After numerous calls, I finally received a call back on March 7, 2011 from a Karen @ 561-832-7170 asking me to sign a release letter so they can send my refund. I was told there would be various people working on my account (Nancy Mansour, Parge Bartis, and Tony Ready.... who knows if they are real people. I would love for everyone who has been taken advantage of by them to get together and somehow make them pay. Money would be nice to have back, but jail/prison something would be sufficient. I still have all my paperwork that I signed as well as the cashed check they deposited into a Flagstar Bank Account# 067014961. Let it be known they are CROOKS
