I saw an add in the San Antonio Express News Paper on Oct 15, 2004 for a job that requires only 10 hours of work per week for 250-500 / week with no selling involved. My girlfriend, wanting to work at home with me since I have run a business from home [eBay/website], quickly called the company and talked to Nicole. They wanted $98.00 for the training material, I didn't have the funds so they said I could do check by phone. They said after the check cleared it would take 2 weeks for my software to come in. On my birthday Oct 19, 2004 the funds were withdrawn from my account.
A month goes by and still no sign of my software package. I call the company at 1-800-410-2268, voice mail is full. I call back repeatedly for 30 minutes until I finally get a hold of someone named Jason. He tells me my package should have arrived by now, I explain that I realize that and I want a refund since I haven't received the product in the time specified. He tells me that I need to call the customer service number at 1-801-746-7440. I call the number and talk to Kelly who explains to me that she can't process a refund unless I mail them page 13 of the pamplet. I calmly explain to her that I haven't received the pamplet and that is why I am requesting a refund. She says I have to wait for the pamplet to come in to request a refund... so I wait.
A couple days later the package finally arrives and to my suprise there is no software included. The package just includes 8 pages stapled together and are poorly printed. I get very upset that this is what we received for $98.00 and quickly pull page 13 and fill it out. I send it off with delivery confirmation so I have proof that the company received the refund request.
On November 26th the receive the refund request. I wait till November 28th for a phone call and after waiting most of the day I decide to give the customer service number a call back. Busy signal and voice mail [full] is all I get for the first 30 minutes. I leave a couple messages requesting them call me back ASAP. I finally decide to call back the 1-800-410-2268 number repeatedly until I get a hold of someone. I talk to David this time who explains to me that he's sorry it's not what Nicole told me it would be and that he would run over to the next building to let Kelly know that she needs to call me. I say that will be fine and end the conversation.
On November 30th I wake up to find a message on my machine. Here is word for word what Kelly had to say:
"Hi this is Kelly from National Recovery Services, something about a refund, well go ahead and send in page 13 of the package and send it in and sign it somewhere on the bottom. Just send it to our processing department. Um, sorry about that if you are not happy and .. um too bad"
Can you believe that! I am extremely upset right off and call the company immediately. I tell the representative, I believe his name was David, the message that I received and how upset I was. He asks to put me on hold and comes back a couple minutes later telling me that he will tell Kelly that she needs to call me back to process my refund. Now in the background I hear laughing and even here one guy yell "You're not getting a refund! I ask david what that was all about and he asks me to hold again, he comes back and now he is on speaker phone. I tell him that I want a refund immediately or I will report their company to the better business bureau and try to persue legal action against him, the whole office it sounded like errupts in laughter and then hangs up on me!
I can't believe they are getting away with this! I tried to call my bank to get a refund and they tell me there is nothing they can do about it since it wasn't an ACH debit. Frustrated I begin to scour the web and stumble across this website. I will be calling the South Salt Lake City Police Department along with the Consumer Protection office in Salt Lake City.
Here are the numbers I got from another post:
Consumer Protection office: 801-530-6601
South Salt Lake City Police Department: 801-412-3606
I would like to persue a class action lawsuit against them if anyone is interested in doing so and/or has an attorney willing to help
Let us work together in stopping these criminals from doing any more damage!

Telling the difference between a "Job" and a "Business Opportunity"
AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

This HUD refund thing is the oldest scam going, has been around since the early 80's and those so called refunds are on loans that ceased to exist in the 70's. Thats when the mandatory loan insurance stopped. Thats what this refund represents, unused insurance premiums on loans that were sold, refinanced or otherwise paid off.
Do you really know how to spot the difference between a job and a business opportunity??
AND..BBB? Better Business Bureau?? Why does everyone threaten people with reporting them to the BBB? This has the same effect as telling your mommy, maybe even less! Thats why they were laughing! Knowledge is power. Do your homework, and speak and write intelligently and people will not laugh at you.
The BBB is a corrupt, misleading and useless organization who has ABSOLUTELY no administrative or legal powers to do anything to anybody. They are a private business that sells useless high priced memberships to its members.
You really need some more education, and sound pretty young and naive, so chalk this up to a learning experience and move on, as it would cost you more than $98 to fight it and win.
You invested in a business opportunity and lost money on your investment. You did not apply for a job.
Therefore the actual chances of finding one of these loans still active or even good contact info on one of these people is slim to none.

Onlinesupplier / same owner that used to sell hud refund / scammers

Onlinesupplier (Newave Inc) is the same people who were selling a couple of products known as AUCTIONROAD AND HUD REFUND a couple of years ago , both of those programs were offered by the same company that used to be called Pinnacle LLC , they had to change their name due to the massive amount of customer's complaints with the BBB and FTC regarding their business practices. Although they continue to rip off customers using similar practices under different names , now days they advertise nationwide claiming to be Ebay by using Bobby Eubanks picture as their host , I wish bobby eubanks could be informed of what really goes on inside that company , or maybe he is aware and he just careless about his image being used in name of a misleading Company and Product .
My advise to all customer like myself who have being riped off by these scammers is file a complaint with the BBB and the FTC regarding their practices , also if they dont want to give your money back when calling customer service , make sure you advise the operator that you will be contacting the D.A from your state and also the BBB , that reminds me of something else , if you go to the BBB you can search for onlinesupplier and they have created 3 different accounts in there due to their bad ratings , one has a goleta adress on it , the other one has a long beach adress on it and there is a 3rd one too that Iam not sure what's the adress they are claiming , so just remember , THEY ARE ALL THE SAME COMPANY run by the same guys off of La patera Ln in Goleta , California . Their phone representatives are told to inform customers that they are located in Long Beach , although that 's another lie , there is probably one guy working from a supposelly warehouse down there , but all phone calls operations are taken in Goleta California ( 7 La patera Ln - goleta california ) .
I had enough of these guys taking my money and giving out my information to several other companies , I also found out the name of the guy responsible for their customer service operations , his name is tom kuljys , so if you want your money back , don't waste your time talking to whoever answers the phone , ask for Tom Kuljys and make sure you get your money back by following the steps mentioned above . Don't be fool by what they tell you , their advertisemnt is misleading , their sales practices are not legit and they are not EBAY , nor have discounted products that will help you being sucessfull on online auctions .
You can also check their stocks under this letters NWWV OR nwwve.ob
God bless us all .
