Nations Law Firm Houston Tx Have my case years and never follow up with me. Houston Texas

I have chronic pain and suffer everyday...Im the victim. I have to be the one doing all the work by getting all the medical records to them and keep calling to check on my case. And they are getting 40% of my settle!sent if I get one. Its been 3.5 years and still no settlement. I call all the time and they tell me to let them do the worrying but I am living on the streets from here to there because of a mesh operation. Was told that none of the cases were settled. I don't know what to do. I'm wondering if they are just holding the lawsuit and not going to help me. Let it sit on their desk until the statue limitations run out. They need to be better at communicating with their clients. Let us know what is going on so we won't worry that we let the wrong law firm handle our case. I need them to earn their 40% by keeping me informed and doing more to calm me down. I need to know that they really care and that they are doing all they can but I'm not feeling that with this firm. Maybe they have too many cases and not enough people working them??? Or something even worse???? Days run into weeks into months into years......with no action!!!!
