We were approached about purchasing home insurance leads from Nationwide Finances. We were told by Doug Snyder that these prospects were in the process of either buying a home or refinancing. We were looking for an additional line of marketing and everything sounded good. So, we paid $7.70 per lead and purchased 100 leads up front.

The first several rounds were not in the area's we selected. They actually fixed that issue, but it didn't seem to make a difference...every..EVERY lead is bad. The prospects stated they had no idea how we received their information and were not in the process of buying anything, specifically not a home.

We tried to reason with Liz Carson, who says she's in charge of that office to get our account either fixed or a refund. We heard the same story from Liz we've heard for the last 8 days..."it's our I.T. department..the filters are bad". She stated that under no circumstance would they issue a full refund. She reminded me that our contract stated no refunds of any type or at any time. She then went on to say that if I kept paying $770 for a few more months and still had issues then she could make an exception for one months refund and cancel our account.

So, we're left with no other option but to cancel our account and hope that the 1 time replacement of the leads will generate enough business just to break even on this poor investment.
