Today I received a call from Nationwide Reader Service. They told me all about this great deal that they had for me because I am a visa card holder.

I kept telling them no I don't want this, I'm not interested ect and they just would not listen. Finally the lady I was talking to transferred me over to her supervisor to finish the deal.

I told him the same thing I told her. I don't want this deal. When I told him that he proceeded to ask me questions like then why are you talking to us? Why did you want this order?

It wasn't my choice to talk to them they called me, and I didn't want this order they were forcing me into a corner. He kept going on and on about how great the deal is. I still said no.

He said he could give me a discount and I still said no. By this time I was getting very frustrated and wanted to scream at him but I didn't, apparently I should have.

He talked to me about payment and when it came to my credit card he already knew my number. I could tell because he started to give me some of the numbers and wanted my confirmation but he already knew it.

After this I told him again I didn't want it and then he asked me those same questions like, then why are you talking to me ect.

When I finally gave in (stupidly) and said yes he then said okay now I'm going to record the conversation for your benefit. For my benefit? If he was really interested in my benefit he would have listened the first time I said no and he would have recorded all the times I said no as well.

Finally the conversation was over and as soon as it was I called my credit card company and canceled my card. But they are still going to charge me, especially from what I've heard from other complaints about sending bills in the mail for hundreds of dollars.

After I got off the phone with my credit card company I called Nationwide Reader Service again and was told that my account isn't up on the computers yet so they can't help me. I have to call back in a day or two and hope that they can help me then.

This is a terrible company and a terrible scam. I have already filed a complaint to the Better Business Bureau and if they don't cancel my "account" and give me my money back I'm going higher like to the state commissioner and whoever else I have to go to to get my money back and end this nightmare.

If this company ever calls you hang up as soon as soon as they start talking. I wish I would have done that. Don't give them a chance to screw you over.

With any luck this company will be out of business soon and people will be able to keep their hard earned money.
