My possesions were picked up in Sarasota Fl.Had to give them another deposit that made the total $1600.00 supposidly off the quote of $2999.00.They told me I also needed boxes for some items, of course those were never used but I had to pay for them anyway. All looked nice and neat on the truck when they drove away. They then told me they had another pickup in Boca Raton but there wasn't a problem it was a small shipment. I get a phone call saying the truck broke down could not deliver the next day. Articles did get there the following day.

When they opened the truck doors my belongs literraly fell out of the truck. Boxes were smashed items piled haphazardly on top of each other. The truck was bursting at the seams.(Obviously it wasn't such a small shipment in Boca.) That was not the way my things left Sarasota. They start bringing things in putting them just anywhere. Mattress was soaking wet computer all wet and various other items. So much damage.

Then I'm told I had to give them the money or they would not give me my things. Well I figured they made some mistake in the figures. They were charging me $2529.00 besides the $1600.00 I already gave them. That brought it up to $4100.00 a far cry from the $2900.00 I was quoted. I asked for the weight papers and of course they wouldn't give it to me.

I have been arguing with All Coast Transpoters since Jan 07 to no avail. I tried to get a hold of Nationwide Relocation and they just said it wasn't their problem. Everyone just tells me it's too bad I should have taken the insurance policy. Of course that was never offered to me and I was told I should have read the fine print.

They lost the first set of pictures and claim I sent them then it took another 2 months to hear from them again. Right now the end result is they offered me $176.00 to replace the items. They told me as far as they were concerned this claim was over and done with.

I am trying to take them to small claims court but they said that had to be filed in Fl. I don't understand. The damage is here in North Carolina. Nationwide Relocation and All Coast Transporters Inc. are nothing but rip offs. Once they have your possesions you have no choice but to pay them for what ever figure they give you.

We had offered Marsha her .60 per pound per article as her settlement. That's the insuranse she signed up for. After speaking with the customer I decided to offer her more cause it was due to driver negligence. I called her on my own and made her an offer to her satisfaction her. We try to keep our customers happy it doesn't always work but we try.

I apologize if your move didn't go as perfect as you would have liked. Just to let you know the driver and his men have worked for a major van line for 15 years. I had just recruited them over. These men were more then qualified to do the job.
Let's start at the top. As far as the packing is concerned. All my drivers are instructed to let you know if packing is going to go over then we follow up with quote if it's over 10%. If you had a question on the packing or the amount used you could have checked it off at the delivery. As far as the delivery. If there is something wrong with one of my trucks on the road I have it repaired. I don't have crappy trucks running across the states. Also it is a law that you can not deliver or even open the doors unless you are paid.
As far as arguing? ? I'm not sure who you are arguing with cause we have only heard from you one time. We made you an offer then never heard anything else again. So please if your not happy with it you can talk to us about it.
