Nationwide Relocation Services is fraudulently trying to retain our deposit money for moving services that were never rendered. We have contacted them many, many times and have been lied to many, many times. The only promise, most recently, that they want to deliver on is that they will not refund our money.
In further detail We hired Nationwide Relocation Services in early November to relocate our furniture from our house in Colorado to our new home in Ohio. We were promised many things by this company regarding the timeframe and the move itself.
After we returned to Colorado to pack our belongings we were told a carrier would arrive on November 21st or 22nd to load our belongings and that we would be notified 48 hours in advance as to which day they would arrive. We heard nothing from the carrier and could get no one from Nationwide to call us back until 4:30PM on the 21st, only to tell us someone would arrive on the 23rd. When we said the 23rd would absolutely not work since we would not be in Colorado they promised us another carrier would arrive by 1PM Mountain Time on the 22nd. When the carrier did not arrive by 4:30PM Mountain Time on the 22nd my wife spoke to a manager who told us we could have our money back if so desired. She asked for our money back immediately and we were told by the manager at Nationwide that we would receive a refund in 72 hours.
After waiting 5 business days I called Nationwide only to be told by their customer service department that we would not be receiving a refund of the nearly $3,000 in charges. No explanation was given by Customer Service except to say that the owner of the company, Aldo Disorbo, stated they fulfilled their end of the moving agreement and they would not return the money. I was told, after many calls, that the owner would call him in two days to receive an explanation. The owner never called
We have since hired Bekins Moving Services (great company), flew back to Colorado on our dime, and finally had the items from our home in Colorado packed up and delivered. In subsequent research online (Google search for Nationwide Relocation Services) it appears this company is notorious for this type of behavior. We had our credit card company freeze the charges.
Unfortunately, our credit card company has told us that the charges aren't technically fraudulent since they were originally charged as the deposit and were authorized by us. At this point in time our credit card company has listed the charges as disputed' and are trying to recover the funds from Nationwide Relocation Services. Given this company's reputation we are not optimistic. This entire experience has been a nightmare!!!

I worked there and you will not get your deposit back I hate to say. They have their terms and conditions written so tightly and you signed it. They do this just so the credit card companies cannot dispute any charges. They are 100% crooks and how they get away with it i do not know. You are lucky they didnt pick up your items. There was someone that wrote on here about particpating in a class action lawsuit. I have tons of info to share regardring his many companies and please give me the info regarding class action lawsuit.

Nationwide can wiggle around the credit card dispute process also

I tried working through my credit card company. They really supported me and felt Nationwide had cheated me very badly. They worked very hard to protect me but were unsuccessful against the unscrupulous tacts of this horrible company.
Nationwide will go to the ends of the earth to lie about the situation and hurt you even more. They told my credit card company that if the charge was disputed they would simply go after me through 3rd party collections.
The credit card company has told me to protect my rights I need to consider small claims court.

Dear Anderson:
I would suggest that you get in touch with some of the other individuals that have had problems with Nationwide Relocation like you. There are alot of us out there that have been burned by Nationwide and its affiliates. Do yourself a favor and contact the BBB in Florida to start. Also, participate in a class action lawsuit that is in the works against tis company. Nationwide will not do anything to help you. They are really good at bending the truth so be careful. If we don't stop Nationwide Relocation now, many others will get scammed and you'll see even more reports listed here.
