i want to forewarn any potential or current customers of Nationwide Relocation and their so called sister companies all under the same roof colonial van lines, Patriot Van Lines, American Van lines and Moving Squad. These companies and their sales staff are all located in the same building owned by one person Aldo DiSorbo. They are all provided with the same customer name in hopes that if one of them does not earn your business, the other one will.

What they are currently doing is shipping your household goods via train. You are picked up by a truck then taken to a warehouse. You are then off loaded, put into a warehouse until they have a full truck load headed in your direction. You are then loaded back onto a truck, taken to the train, off loaded onto the train and head to the closest warehouse to your destination. Then you are off loaded from the train to another truck which either goes to another warehouse off loaded again and eventually makes it to your destination.

If you do the math your goods are loaded and off loaded a minimum of 5 to 6 times. Each time a different crew is handling your precious cargo. In some cases it can take 30 days to receive your furniture. My main concern when I was informed of this was why was I not informed of this at the time of my quote so that I could make the decision if that is how I want to have my things moved. Secondly if your moving my things via train and loading some many times, common sense is there is more likelihood of damage.

I feel it is only right that customers be told of how there things are being shipped. It seems to me that if you are calling a mover the fair assumption would be you are being moved in a truck not a train! The moving industry already has a bad reputation for having rouge movers. These aforementioned companies are already under Senate investigation (www.reloroundtable.com). Please be careful and ask how your things are being shipped and get it in writing.

My friend who used this company to move from Texas to Nevada waited over 30 days to be delivered and nothing was in one piece.

POSTED: Tuesday, January 08, 2013

Please report all complaints regarding Nationwide to the DOT's Fed. Motor Carrier Safety Admin Enforcement Div. They have new authority now to fine movers and they are especially concerned about the numerous and horrendous complaints reported against Nationwide and its affiliates.

Using trains to transport household goods

AUTHOR: Linda - (United States of America)

POSTED: Monday, April 30, 2012

Mr. Disorbo,

The reason you found no such person is because I am not the individual you moved. Had you taken the time to read the complaint you would have read that. You are now stating in writing on this site that you did not move my friends household goods via train? Are you willing to testify that in a court of law? You might want to bring your customer service representative Taharia with you as my friend has her recorded saying that is how his things were moved. You record all calls I'm sure..check her calls. Be honest and tell people this is how you are moving them and let them make the decision if they are ok with having there items moved multiple times and then slammed around on a train only to have them delivered in pieces. Honestly how do you sleep at night. I have read everything about you online. Your parents must be proud.!

COMPANY RESPONSE

AUTHOR: Nationwide Relocation Services - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, April 26, 2012

Please be advised our company has had no contractual agreement or financial transactions with the individual who has posted this review detailing the events of an alleged move with our company. For the record, our company utilizes moving trucks to transport our customers' household goods from the origin location to the destination.

If the actual customer has any issues or concerns that need to be addressed, they may contact our office to discuss. As we know all our moves will not go as smooth as we anticipate, we take pride in ensuring our customers are satisfied with the services provided and if any issues arise, we work diligently to make sure all concerns are addressed and resolution is determined.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Nationwide Relocation Services.
