I have just recently begun receiving phone calls from a company calling themsleves Navicomm LLC, demanding payment for services not authorized by me. I have had times on my computer where pop-up windows have started popping up and I can't get rid of them. I would shut down my computer to get them to stop. I did not authorize any services and certainly did not look for pornographic sites! I refuse to pay them, however they refuse to stop calling. My wife and I both are elderly with heart conditions and the stress is starting to affect both of us physically. How do I get them to stop?

Dispute Charges in Writing

Send a letter to the company disputing the charges. Be specific about the amounts and dates of the charges. Advise the company that you have filed a complaint with the FCC. You may want to send the letter registered to show proof of your action. Then, fill out a complaint form (FCC Form 475) with the FCC on the internet. At first, when this happened to me, I thought the charges might be legitimate (if my son had done it and not understood), but after reading all the similar complaints, I realized that this was fraud.
