NCO Financia ripoff, payed off debt, still showing on credit report as not paid Horsham, Pennsylvania

I was deployed in the Marine Corps back in 2001 I had an electricity bill that was not payed for the amount of $121 from an empty house we had. I found out about this in 2002 when I was buying a house. I payed off debt, but it is still showing on my credit report as not paid for the grand total of ONE DOLLAR and the report date is Nov 2002. I have a clean credit report except for this.

I don't have the receipt from when I paid it off, I gave it to the mortgage company and it got lost somewhere. I don't want to pay it and change the report date and wait 7 years from that date for it two come off my credit report.

Is there anyway for me to deal with this situation of having it taken off my credit report or at least having it show as paid from 2002?
