Neopets, Inc Unfair punishments, invasion of privacy Glendale California

I don't even know where to start with this website. I have been playing it since the month or so of it's creation.  It has so much potential to being great but instead it went right down hill after it's sale to Viacom. 

The protection on this site is disgusting, I lost my first account back in april of 2004 to a password glitch where people could type in your username and obtain your password. I was broken into and frozen for scamming. I wrote to them to no avail and never got the account back. I did create a new account about a year later which I am still currently using (surprising)  I am a now 47 year old woman and even I have to say what the heck am I doing still playing on this site! It's now owned by Viacom and truly aimed at kids but it's we adults that made it huge and a money maker for them.

This site is a getaway, great people to socialize with and many amenities.  The NC mall is huge on this site, I don't buy from it regularly but I have made a few minor purchases. I do however and have paid for premium service since 2007.  Ever since I did this my punishments increased greatly.  Mods that are not fair by any means on here. I am currently sitting on a 192 hour suspension for talking to a close friend via the mail they have on the site.

 She asked how to report bad neopet sites. I asked her if it was the one with porn on it and bam I was suspended. 1. This was a private mail. 2. I didn't say the site or go into detail. 3. No filter blocked that word in the first place and I have seen people say and do a lot worse on the forums and get away with it.  Staff is very ignorant when they hand out punishments, there's no equality what so ever.  This has gotten out of hand because I will no sooner get off of a suspension and there's another one.

 My account is established and I abide by rules but make little human errors of course and they're unforgiving, I would never be profane or disgusting like many are on this site,  staff misinterprets things and hammers you.  I can guarantee there will not be a response to my mail regarding this.

  My account has been frozen and gutted by tnt TWICE because I was a  private bulk buyer of items. They gave me the account back but fully stripped of all I collected for years. This happened in 2007, Adam was still the owner of the company and actually responded to my mails to the legal dept.  He did the best he could with the situation before he sold off(by far not good enough) You don't get this type of service now even though I wasn't compensated for their mistake he responded.  They take and take and then just freeze you for the dumbest things.

 It's an addictive site with all it has to offer so that's why players still come back.  I myself am done with it, I have canceled my premium service and before they completely freeze my account for something even more lame I will walk away.  That goes to show you how much these accounts mean to we players on here.  I would rather walk away then have someone be able to use my name and pet names down the road when they recirculate them.  This site is beyond hopeless now, Viacom if you want kids you need their parents and I can guarantee you will make your money. People truly need to stop supporting this site, you will get your punishment I can guarantee it.  I will miss all the great people I have met. Take care
