Netdetective.com HD Publishing Is a total scam, Internet

Do not use Net Detective to do background checks on anyone.  I signed up for the standard package for $29.00.  After they took my money, I tried to pull up someone's name.  They gave me a list of 3 people.  When I clicked on the person I thought was the one I wanted, I was redirected to another page that said I had to pay another $10 nonrefundable fee and join the premium package for another $29.00 if I wanted the information. 

Of course I declined and then called the customer service number to cancel the subscription.  The lady on the phone said I didn't read the terms and conditions properly, so basically it was my fault.  I figured, yeah ok so I got screwed lets move on.  I hung up on her.  Then I get an e-mail saying if I wanted a refund, I would have to go to their website and download a form to fill out and then mail, fax or e-mail it back.  I am still waiting to see if my refund request is accepted.

They advertise that with the standard package you can get background checks.  But then they won't give you the information until you pay them more money.  I should have looked them up here before I signed on for the service.
