I made the unfortunate mistake of getting a 2nd title loan from these people! First one was fine though expensive but once you are in you are in.. On this second loan I paid 440- to 480 a month for 9 months totalling Well over 4000 on a 2000 loan. I did incur a few late fees,at the end of the loan owed $264.00 I left a voicemail with them letting them know i'm not running out on 264 dollars and that I had a family issue. The payment would be made the following week Friday May 6, 2016. Imagine my surprise when i woke up to go to work thisw morning and my car was missing!!!! Of course I called the police who politely informed me that my car was repossessed!!!!  (mind you every month i paid AND this was my 2nd loan)

I finally reached someone who told me that in order to get my car back i now have to pay them 809.64!!!!! (repo fees kindly added in) They told me they had been calling me. Well not since the voice mail i had left. Had they warned me, that my car was scheduled for repo on Thursday I would have let them know I left them a message i've never had an issue.

I was STUNNED!!!! I said you want me to pay you 800 dollars when i only owed you 264 dollars? This woman simply said yup, and it's not 800 dollars it's 809.64. If I could have punched her in the face for her laughing comment i would have!

IS THIS  EVEN LEGAL!?? Of course I knew what I was getting into, and if it had not been an emergency i wouldn't have done it (as most in this situation fall) If I thought my car could be repossessed for 264 dollars in late fees I would have found a way!

I am now without my car that has been paid for over and over again, I cannot work because i travel to several clients a day.

It's ok for them to be rude though, right?

I too dealt with this comany, twice. The first time they were great, that was several years ago. Not the second time. They are snarky and look down on you and I've been inside the office while the employees are blatantly making fun of their customers on the other end of the phone, which btw, I think it's tacky that collections calls are made right in front of other customers. To the guy who 'doesn't work there's, you totally do. You're making rebuttals under vague names on every complaint about this location. It reeks, and based on the lack of professionalism I've witnessed towards others, nevermind myself, this doesn't even surprise me. I hope somebody looks into this, and the 'people' defending the company they 'don't' work for. With all the money they make off these loans it's sad that they pay their employees so poorly, so I hope you're getting paid extra for the snarky commentary that fits right in with their business. How can you look down on the people who use these loans, usually out of desperation, when I'd be willing to bet that you poorly paid employees of theirs either live with your parents or get Section 8? That's why you don't understand the struggle. Oh and before you come back with, 'You should've paid your loan!' I did. Twice. You can feel free to look me up since you 'don't work there'. That said, I just had to talk sense into a family member in desperate need of a loan, and since she truly NEEDS to go this route against my advice, I referred her to your competition who is right across the street (who I've also dealt with)- and the reasons are is for the very reasons I've read in these reports, but mainly the treatment of customers- your close competition doesn't treat customers this way and are willing to work with people!

All Their Fault, Right?

It doesn't matter how long of a history you've had with these deadbeat lenders, "late" is still LATE. Secondly, they aren't stupid and won't be giving any deadbeat advance warning of a repo so the deadbeat can hide the car! In the contract you signed, it already tells you the repo option is there if YOU decide to turn on their collections machine by not paying. Finally, let me save you some trouble. Don't bother writing back something dumb like "you must work for them", because I don't!
