     I am going to keep this as short as possible so that it is not a book.  I cannot begin to write down everything in detail about how unprofessional this company was, I already tried and it was pages. 

     I was moving from Texas to Pennsylvania

     The company arrived late to pick my things up, and they sent Compass Van Lines to make the pickup. The movers having arrived late were doing my moving while I was trying to get ready for work, which made it difficult for me to look over my paperwork thoroughly enough. 

    I took the free 30 days storage, so I could keep working and save a few dollars before I moved.  A friend was supposed to receive my property for me the week before I arrived.  The delivery date came and went, and I received no contact from the company.  I tried to make contact that whole day and the next and finally got someone who said they would call me back.  The bulk of the day passed with no call back.  Long story short I got a hold of them again and found out my stuff hadnt left yet.  They were planning on delivering it 5 days later without contacting me about it. 

     Fast forward to the delivery  They arrived three days late, instead of five, at 11:00 p.m. EST.  My friend has two children and goes to school during the week and wasnt prepared for this.  He had cleared storage space for my things in a garage until I arrived but the movers tried to put my things in his kitchen.  After ARGUING with them he allowed them to put it in his basement.  They left my couch and mattress on his porch in Pennsylvaniain the middle of winter, right after a major snow storm.  To top it off my friend said they locked their keys in their truck. 

     Compass Van Lines was not approved by the insurance (which New Planet recommended I get), and the paper work was not filled out correctly, stating that everything was PBO (Packed by Owner).  This voided my Insurance claim, which I am fighting now. The additional materials I paid for were removed, resulting in damages, and all of my boxes were crushed or damaged.   I will offer any additional information to anyone interested because I cant even scratch the surface here. 

     People say that competing companies get on here and post bad reviews; well there is no way to tell if the companies themselves are posting good reviews.  I will offer any additional information should anyone want to know.  The BBB had a good rating and I was still screwed.
