Report On Usight & NMR / National Marketing Resources Usight SOLD to NMR Ripoff Kearney Missouri
I have read some rip-off reports on uSight, curious - I searched the internet.
I found: http://www.matr.net/article-12351.html It is an article dated 10/20/2004 on how Brandt Andersen, a college drop out was reported in Inc. magazine & Inc. ranked uSight No. 2 on its list of the nation's 500 fastest-growing private companies. The bottom of the article states that: Two months ago, he SOLD uSight to National Marketing Resources located in Kearney, MO. Brandt is now doing some consulting and considering what his next project will be as well as possibly finishing his education.
Background info on NMR (National Marketing Resources) indicates that the bbb originally listed them at the same address as PMI (Professional Marketing International), 301 S Platte ClayWay, Kearney MO 64151 with the same phone number of 816-903-6100. The bbb now shows NMR with only a P.O. Box 1208. Initially Steve Thorne was listed on both company reports (PMI & NMR) as principal, while the original business start date is the same 1/2001, bbb/NMR lists a new principal/customer contact and shows Steve's name at the bottom under additional company management personnel.
If you search PMIcoaching/NMRcoaching, PMI or Professional Marketing International & one reported as PMI Direct, you will find numerous reports as they have been working with or for: Internet Treasure Chest, StoresOnline dba's: Galaxy Mall Inc, General Pacific Partners, Inetseminars, NetGateway Inc., Storesonline.com, Imergent Inc; Auctions for Income, Internet Development or idiglobal, Frank Kerns, iWorks, USight/UBuilder, iPagebuilder/themeware. Others: Professional Consulting Services, Robert Allen/PMG mentoring, Russ Whitney/Teach Me To Trade, Online Supplier etc., etc., etc.... Searching under these names and others, you will read many reports but they all have the same type of complaints: misrepresentation = what was sold via phone solicitation or seminar vs. what consumers received, the words and products didn't match up OR many never received their promised stores or sites, some that did, the sites didn't perform, OR can't reach coaches or poor coaching, & the infamous 3 - 5 day cancellation policy with NO refund, were most don't have product in their hands within this time frame. Any investment of 200.00 - 5000.00 and upwards requires time for review. Many report hidden charges, monthly charges, and additional sales calls from other mentoring/coaching groups or tax clubs/consultants.
GET as much FREE info as possible: If you want to be in business, do yourself the favor of spending some time researching what goes in to operating one. Go to: http://www.entrepreneur.com/howto/esthomebiz/0,5973,,00.html OR search your own state, use any search engine and type in example: WI government, in result list - look for home page = www.wisconsin.gov, click on business tab, look here for FREE business advice & forms. Look into legal advice and accountant/tax requirements. Much info can be found for FREE via the internet, get as much as you can before agreeing to buy it from an unknown source. You don't need to pay HUGE coaching fees to have them tell you the web addresses for sites that you can search for & find for FREE. Many local colleges sometimes offer free informative classes.
In their sales solicitation they make you think that you can get up & running in a short period of time, less than 30 days and that it can all be done for the amount of money you are paying to them. NOT TRUE. There will be undisclosed costs, found as you begin to go through hard copy or online information they provide. There will be monthly fees, renewal fees for continued training or service - all undisclosed at time of initial sale. They do not tell you of all potential cost & expenses of doing business through them before closing the initial sale with you. Causing you to think one way when the truth is completely different, that is misrepresentation. There is a percentage of consumer population out there that can afford these unknowns; there is a bigger percentage that can't. The one's that are surprised, can't afford their programs, products and services, those that want a refund most have to fight & fight & fight to get their money back.
