If you know what's good for you turn & go the other way. NEVER buy a car from these con artist. Ever heard of Mega Motors? No Limit is the exact equivalent. When I drove the car off the lot, nothing but a problems a week later. I take it in to get it fixed their shade tree mechanics did 4 other things and still didn't fix the problem & charge it back to the customer. To make the matters even worse there is a bum a** general manager named Eric Strickland that's the biggest con man of them all.

You put lemons out on the lot, no oil changes no tune ups. Your suppose to sale reliable cars not junk motors. His response to the whole ordeal is "didn't we fix this didn't we fix that". But you still didn't fix the jerking with the car you idiot. They had my car for 7 days & still didn't fix the problem & want to charge me 105 dollars on something that had nothing to do with the car.

Well guess what Sorry Motors you will have your trash of a car back sooner than you think. Keep in mind that the salesman said before I signed the docs that it will be in house financing and would be on my credit. Guess what sorry general manager your salesman is on camera with clear audio so when I turn it back in & it shows up on my credit my lawyer will be in contact with you directly. Word to the wise you would be better off walking than spending your hard earned money on trash.

Lots of SHADY USED CAR DEALERS in TEXAS for sure...

AUTHOR: Jack - (United States of America)

POSTED: Wednesday, February 13, 2013

When I was looking for a used car I had several different used car dealers around Dallas try to sell me junk cars or old cars that they would shine the wheels on and rush to sale. Many had just bought the car from auction, had never even inspected the car and would quickly try to flip and double their money. And I'm in Dallas, TX. So you know if they are that crooked in a big city they are worse in the smaller areas.

You see the amount of money they normally request from people for the down payment is more sometimes than what they even paid for the car!!! When they got it from the auction.  So for instance if they purchased a little Toyota for $500 from the auction where the cars are drastically underpriced, they would want someone to put down $1,000 on the car and then want to put them on weekly payments of around $98 dollars per week for 96 weeks which is almost two years and sometimes even longer.

So in the end they have made their money back from the downpayment alone and everything else is sheer profit. It's absolutely insane here. Unbelievable. Lots of desperate people here who get sucked into outrageous deals.

Honestly, even if I sold cars which I plan to start doing in my own business (I've applied for my used car dealer's licence) I couldn't sleep at night if I did that to people. Honestly.

I had one guy when my car had broke down and I was in the market for another, try to sell me a car he had just got from the auction and it had the engine light on!!!!! WTF! And he wanted to sell this car on payments!!! With a hefty down payment when the car should have been a very cheap cash car.

My friend is an african and he sells cars parttime. He is also a mechanic. He once told me that the white man (I'm sure other races do it too)  wants to maximize every deal. He stated he didn't understand why they couldn't just be happy making their money back plus some, but they had to milk every single deal. He stated he had just sold a cash car for $4000.00 he paid around $2000.00 for. He said if I would have went to a used car dealer he would have wanted $1500 down and wanted to put you on payments until he made around $10,000 back.

He even said it was obscene.

So be careful. I eventually bought a cash car for $800.00 and it has driven good for over a year. Don't let these shady used car salesmen (there is a reason they have that reputation) rip you off!

Questions

AUTHOR: coast - (USA)

POSTED: Tuesday, February 12, 2013

Did you hire an independent mechanic to evaluate the car prior to purchase? What is the year of manufacture, model and odometer reading on the car? Did the transaction include a warranty or was the car purchased AS-IS?

"the salesman said before I signed the docs that it will be in house financing and would be on my credit"

That's correct, it will affect your credit. If you default on the loan you can expect it to be reflected on your credit report.
