Apparently, the customer could not afford the truck he was trying to buy. No dealerships wants to turn down a customer but everyone has to be able to afford the payment.  Whomever was the owner at the time would be the one who ends up with the insurance check, that means if this was a consignment vehicle; the check would have gone to the true owner at the time.  We are in the business to sell cars and strive hard to be honest with the customer.  Honesty, is very important in our business sometimes it may not be what the customer wants to hear.
