I understand your comments and will consider posting 8 years because of the hands on from the lansdscape / construction company (started in 2002) since we built and roofed patios additions, etc... and I was the owner / field supervisor. 

Also, while being a designer / architectural manager, part of my role was to spend 50% of my time in the field on the building sites and verify construction and techniques. So that equates to something for experience, as well as a degree where the study and installation of roofing systems were covered.  I mean, its not like i sold memberships at a fitness club and trying to pass that off as experience.

From the outside looking in after reading your post it really looks as if you only have design experience in the construction industry from the 1993 to 2006.  The hands on experience seems to have started in the 2006 - 2009 time frame with the builder you have mentioned.   After reviewing your website it seems you should be marketing your company as less than one year old, not 15 years roofing/general contracting experience when you were simply a designer.  Hands on is actually in the feild with the hammer not autocad.  But it does seem you have a good design background.  Good luck with you new roofing career, hail seasons around the corner.

One Last Thing,

Its sad to see the economy tear friends apart, thousands upon thousands of homebuilders went out of business along with several other construction companies.

Hello, This is Darren Linkeman, the owner of North Texas Signature Roofing. Browsing the web after doing some marketing efforts, I found this entry. First of all, this entry, after wondering how in the world someone could find all this information, IE. how someone was able to seach on the internet how someone was "fired" from a company got me thinking.... wait a minute... this is a personal attack. So, it took me only 15 or so seconds..... the only person that would do this is..... the guy, who just yesterday came to my door to offer a friendship after 3 years of business together and I wont accept his appologizies..... Yes... thats right. Chuck fairchild with Metroplex Roof and Fence. I am HIS COMPETITOR NOW so he is being shady!

I normally wouldnt personally attack someone, but he, once again, has started this.... See, I worked for him, I was the superintendant building custom homes and when his business failed... I can go into details.... but maybe later, he asked me to start a roofing business with him. Check the Denton tax records for the DBA with his and My name. But after only 1 month, I decided I'm not going to associate my self with him because he is running this business like his previous home building business and I am not taking a part in that....

Get ready for a long story.... I promise, its gonna be an entertaining one.

First I want to say, I am a honest person, run business that way and have always been successfull because of it. I am not into personal attacks.... BUT he has gone to far this time.

I have never been fired from a company!! The only custom home company i worked for was HIS!! SO, if i was fired for theft, why am I starting a company with him in Oct. of 2009 when I worked for him from 2006-2009??

At First, the entry seems its from a person searching for a roofing company.... Well, He acually owns a roofing comapany.... and the entire post was copied from a ripoff report filed against him from a consumer who he i guess thought was me.  Now, Let's start with the facts. He is saying that i was fired from a custom homes company for theft. GUESS WHAT, it was HIS company I worked work. I worked as a superintendant for him for about 2 1/2 years. 2006 -2009. First of all, since we are personally attacking..... I NEVER WAS FIRED FROM HIS COMPANY..... I QUIT BECAUSE HE COULDNT PAY ME!!!! He still ows me 3000.00 from 2009. If you want the details, call me... info below. If he comes back with a rebuttal, I will post for everyone to see how he could not pay me, I have all the finacials. and the details about all the homes he built.... I mean really, I was the superintendant and wrote the checks. AND Chuck, if you really want to get into it, The copies will be forwarded to 84 lumber and Liberty savings bank. We all know how much the loans were for and how much was spent once the homes werent finished and they went into forclosure.

 What I'm saying is..... I have nothing to hide regarding anything!! you on the other hand have countless things I could post here regarding vehicle repos, Finance company crap (Circle Star Capital Lending), BTW, you have a B/A in accounting from LaTournau ?? REALLY?? Oh and a parade of homes award, and a Master Builder award? Wait, the linkedin site states you own circlestar capital lending and have 10 years in business.... the company was started in 2008/2009, how do I know? cause you and JJ Dickens started it then and asked me to work there. This IS what I know about Chuck Fairchild.... for fair play I will post MY Resume of experience because he has challenged it and TRUST me.... why would he be posting that I was such a bad and unexperienced person if HE HIRED ME BASED ON THIS EXPERIENCE.... LMAO!!

First, he posts 9 years Roofing experience and claims his family was in the business, First of all, His mom build homes in Angel Fire, NM while he lived here in Texas working sales at 24 hour fitness and was in the military. Then she have him credit line to build one here..... that was 5 years ago. He has built 5 homes, NONE of which ever sold BUT went into forclosure!!!

One of them was with DAVID BELL..... My current business partner, who got screwed by Chuck.... Hence they are not friends any more! However he is my silent financial partner and is a very succesfull top ranked manager at American Airlines..... He has believed in me and put his money on the table as an investor, BTW David Bell knew Chuck Fairchild before I did and now wants nothing to do with him. Nothing wrong with investing.... There are two/ three people who all knew each other here and if needed I will ask each one of them to create an account (a real one), Ill get to that in a min, to show how much of a snake Chuck really is.

 Sorry, Chuck, you started the personal attacks, I am just following through. and if you want to get crappy, i will post a check dated to show that I worked for you, then went into business with you to prove, I didnt steal crap!!!

Chuck posted on his rip off report using a different account some nice things about him, check the posting times, really, some stranger within the same day is gonna post a great comment about you?  2007-2009 - Chuck Finally got Two Houses in His name GUESS WHAT??? Not one house sold..... They ALL went into foreclosure!! So you got Parade of Homes awards and Master Builder awards??? Please!! You didnt even build the homes, I DID while you ran around with your buddies doing who knows what!! I build the homes, thats MY experience, NOT yours!! :)

Ask him to prove his education and 9 years of roofing experience.

1993 Graduate ITT Technical Institute - Associate Degree Architecture and Engineering - Building Design, Building Practices, State and National Codes for alll aspects of building including installation of all components INCLUDING roof systems, residential and commercial.

1993-1995 - Integrated Future Technologies - Design technician - Design and inspections of buildings including the BallPark in Arlington and Cooks Medical Center in Fort Worth.

1995-1996 - AIG Architects - Comercial Designer including Barnes and Noble, Outback Steakhouse... in charge of design including custom roof assemblies and building design.

1996- 1999 Centex Homes - Lead Architect - Home Design.... Including design, field construction practices, field verification for installation standard practices including all building aspects including ROOFING!

1999- 2002 Woodhaven Homes - Architectual Manager - Created an in-house architectural department to reduce outsource and bring in-house control of field operations as stated above.

2002 -2003 Buescher Homes - Architectural Manager - Same as above

 2003-2006 Innovative Design Consultants / and Texas Traditions Landscape - Owner - Design business that consulted with builders for field operations and at the same time owned a full service landscape company with crews that installed landscaping, patio covers, remodels, which included roofing the projects.

2006- 2009 Fairchild Custom Homes - Superintendant - scheduled all crews, veified all construction, invoiced all subcontractors, even designed the landscaping and installed one under Texas Traditions Landscape, Have the invoice and cancelled check from Fairchild custom homes. :)

2009 - Current - North Texas Signature Roofing - Owner - Roofing installation.... business is great :)

SO..... there you have it, the website IS wrong.... IT'S 18 years in Roofing and construction NOT 15, sorry!!!

 Chuck, I am done with all this crap, you own a roofing company, so do I, go out and earn your customers and so will I..... I am not going to participate in these false company reports... If you decide to continue, I WILL post all the documents listed above and more.... and another thing, do NOT come by my house ever again, THIS IS YOUR WARNING..... I am not going to have you interupting my family time with your outrageous claims for friendship!!

So to re-cap, this is an attack by a competitor in the roofing business that we were once friends and business associates, and will not be anymore.

 For additonal validity, he attacked me on another post about Texas Traditions landscape www.texastraditionslandscape.com saying the "8 years in business" on the wesite was false.... well, chuck, heres another thing your wrong at... see photos below of my Texas sales and use permit dated 6/01/2002 .... Thats 8 years :) so whats wrong??

If you want to get into this further, I have a real 15 years in the business and you attacking me, If you want to go further, I will sue you for slander and unlawful defication of business to recoup lost business from this post, you dont have the experience you have posted all over the internet, including on linedin about Circlestar Capital Lending, Fairhen, metroplex roof and fence, etc... or the awards posted, and have been notified to the HBA.... I have a saved copy of the website in case you want to change the history of your endevors. I HAVE REAL experience that you cant touch and have not lied about anything.  So, continue this and an attorney will contact you!

About the attack of North Texas Signature Roofings DBA posting, it was actually filed in October, but the LLC that we formed changed the date to January.... We already put on about 25 roofs by then :)

Oh and If anyone would like a list of ACTUAL customers that have agreed to giving happy refferals, I have that list for you including Name, Address, Phone Number and Date of Install.... Honesty is my only way of doing business!! Business is GREAT!! :)
