Northern Resolution Group Credit Reporting Scam Buffalo, New York

 I am currently in bankruptcy and have been for over a year. I check my credit report once a month just to make sure everybody is reporting as being paid on time. Well to my surprise I see a alert stating I have a account now in collections. When I check it is for some company named Northern Resolutions Group. Never heard of them or even from them. States that $2064 is due but original amount is $1400.

Well they say they have had the account since 2010. If that is true they would have been on the list of people owed money when I filed for bankruptcy but low and behold when my Atty pulled a copy of that credit report from when I filed nothing from them on there. gave two different stories about what and who was owed.  They are nothing but a scam. You can only call a voice mail and then they say you must leave SS# for them to return your call. LOL.

Do not give them that info and also state you are recording all calls as sure enough they will either curse you out or when they call you they will tell you you have two hours to pay this debt by moneygram or you will be arrested. The phone number that they gave to the BBB is a turned off verizon cell phone. This company is nothing but a scam so be careful if they ever call you 99.9% it is a fake account they made up and they are trying to pull the you took out a payday loan online scam now on people. This company has been reported to both the NY AG's office and to the Bankruptcy court
