I received a letter from Northland Group Inc on 11/23/07 stating that they were attempting to collect on an account for Capital One Bank. I mailed them
a letter disputing the debt. I also requested verfication of the debt and an original judgement pretaining to the debt in question. Instead of mailing me the information I requested, Northland Group Inc mailed me a settlement offer asking for 3 installment payments. I fail to understand how the collection companies can try a seek payment on accounts that were paid two years ago.
