Hello Mr. Melchor,

I wanted to take a moment to write to address an issue that I have had with Mr. PXXXXXXX. On Friday 12/26/08, I went to Northwest Dodge to inquire about purchasing a new 2008 Dodge Caliber. A deal was negotiated and I was told that the banks were closed and that all of my paperwork would be completed on the following Monday, 12/29/08. Well, Monday came and went and there was no call from Mr. PXXXXXXX. On Wednesday, I received a phone call stating that I would need to get a co-signer in order to get financed. This was odd to me as in 36 years, I have never had a problem financing a vehicle and have never once missed a payment, had a repo, or anything of the sort. In any case, the next morning, I returned to the dealership with the vehicle and asked for my trade in back. Mr. PXXXXXXX said that there was a mix up and he just needed one more day to get me approved. He asked to give him until 3:00 pm the next day and he would call me back. I agreed. Again, the next day came and went and no phone calls from Ted. Yesterday 1/6/09, I called the dealership to see what was going on and Ted stated that everything was approved at the rate quoted of $389 and that I could come in to sign paperwork. I told him that I was working late and would be in today 1/7/09, to sign the final documents. At 12:50 pm today, Ted called me and stated that he had gotten me approved at 15% interest and my payments would be $414.00 (acting as if he had no recollection of our conversation on Tuesday). I was confused, because less than 24 hours earlier, I was told that it was approved at $389.00. In any case, I am not a happy customer. I feel like it was a huge waste of time and that I was deliberately lied to on several occasions. He clearly does not have a customer centered mentality and I wanted to share this with whomever might care.
