Dear Good People:

I was looking for additional work online. I found an opportunity for a shopper/critic/writer in my area, which is commom practice here. There was a series of test products presented the try for postage costs only. A couple of the businesses are reputable and useful to my business, so I continued to go through the interview and select items/services.

On the final page of the application were three highly priced and minimal use product companies, whose minimum requirements for application I (or most people) could not financially meet.

I paid shipping charges and then was subsequently charged for 'starter kits' adding up to hundreds of dollars. I called NovaPointe requesting refunds and the companies to return any products to, and was laughed at, seriously.

I cancelled my card, am disputing charges and reporting to the BBB. I am warning the good businesses they may want to disassociate with this advertiser/distributor.

I am extremely hurt. I have years experience online. I am starting life over, living on credit and selling personal items for food and gas. I have it good, with resource and knowing all will be well. I am not a consumer advocate, but I cannot let this one go. Some poor family out there could just be put right over the edge by this kind of thievery.
