NSC Equipment - American Fabrication - Titan Industrial - Ramco Et.al deceptive sales scam, Internet

Fell victim to the Titan Industrial scam. It occured exactly as described by others.
 
Was approached by a salesman in a white pick-up loaded with 1 of each item offered for sale by Titan Industrial. This helped to support his claim that he was just leaving a trade show. hestaed that his boss didn't want to pay shipping and if I purchased the most expensive item for 5900.00, he would throw in everything else for free. 

He had all the sales literature, company logoed shirt, I.D. badge, warranty forms, vehicle placards, North Carolina tags, and even a N.C. accent to lend credibility to his story. (This occured in Maryland). He also called his boss to negotiate a price when I countered his offer.

After being shown sales literature placing the value of the items close to 20,000 dollars, I decided it was a really good value and gave him my credit card which he promptly called in to his boss. He then accompanied me to my house for delivery. 

After visiting E-bay to see if there were any of these items for sale to garner an idea of their value, and further investigation on-line, it became very apparent that the prices shown in the literature are a gross exageration, the quality is questionable at best, and that i had been scammed.

I immediately called Discover to see if I had any recourse. The woman in the fraud department that was assisting me asked me if the name of the company was Prolite based solely on the desciption of the events that took place as she had received numerous complaints previously.

Several hours later I found the salesman parked in the same parking lot as before with a new load of equipment. When I approached him he stuck with his story and even gave me the number of his so called boss. When I called him, he also stuck with the trade show story, claimed that he was the president ot Titan Industrial, and that they had an impeccable record and would not release me from the sale.
