Ordered a small part about 2 weeks ago. Only received order confirmation the same day as ordered and never told item was on back order and they didn't have it. Anyway, almost 2 weeks wasted waiting on the pigtail. Getting it next day from another source now because I'm sick of waiting to have ac as it is nearly 90 degrees out now and my vehicle is black on black. Sent an e-mail asking if it had even been shipped and finally received response they didn't have it in stock and have been waiting for it to come in. Anyway, they tell me today it has finally shipped as of now. Amazing that it cost more than $10 to ship a $2 part and it takes more than 2 weeks to get it. I had a windshield sent to me from Washington State to Ga via freight and it only cost me $9 to ship and only took 5 days to get here. My issue is that if something is gonna be on back order for 2 weeks, let the customer know so they have options to get it sooner or whatever is necessary, then if it takes 2 wks or more, it's their issue. This is an issue from the seller, not knowing what they are even doing. Unfortunately, I can't get a refund for the abt $13 (a $2.08 part with a massive shipping charge unless I pay all the return shipping and i'll, of course eat the initial shipping) because the part didn't cost anything compared to the outrageous shipping cost.

 Anyway, they didn't steal my $ unless the part never shipped, but I will report it if the item doesn't show a ship date and time congruent with their claim to have shipped it a short time ago today. Anyway, I won't order from them again bc they completely left me in the dark on backorder status and an approximate date I would receive the item. Everywhere else I order from sends me a response within a couple hours if they can't fill the order within 24 hrs and often they advise me that they are going to have what I need sent directly from their supplier, but they still supply me with tracking info, etc as soon as the item/s have shipped. In the last 3 months, I have spent several thousand $ on internet based companies and always give some sort of feedback. Fortunately for most of them, it always seems to be very positive. I hate to speak badly of anyone's livelyhood as I understand things can happe and I am a very patient person, but I do need to be informed of any situation such as this, rather than wasting my time and waiting for something to be here for a vehicle I have to drive every day.

I sent in this complaint earlier this am and it appears as though my cell sent it in twice. At any rate, it was only intended to be sent once. I received a response back approximately half an hour after posting my complaint from "Nate" at said company. "Nate" seemed quite courteous and respectful about the matter from all of the e-mails I had received from him and I can only say I wished he had been able to be in contact with me about the backorder in the first place. At any rate, his customer service in regards to the situation was good ... Above the average of many people and businesses, so I would potentially use the company with respect to him. He mentioned in his last e-mail to me that he would enter into their computer system for a discount for any trouble I had incurred this time. At any rate, it most likely won't be used due to the fact that this is the first time in a very long time I have needed to order any parts for an ac system. At any rate, it's the thought that counts, so thank you for your concern, Nate. Anyway, yes, this company does need some work potentially with backorder info or the like to it's customers, but things happen from even the best companies. I suppose it is all about whether they care enough to back up their mistakes with at least concern for your hopes not working out as well as hoped.
