I watched NuWave TV Commercial about purchase one induction cooktop, get another one free. I went to place an order and you have to give your information and credit card up front before being allowed to order the product. When I got to the last page after saying No, No, No to all the additional offers that come up I was presented with the cost of the product of 99.00 as stated but then $139.65 for shipping and handling of the 2nd "free" induction cooktop.
I DID NOT Submit my order but instead cancelled it the only way allowed (the red x button because there is no back or cancel). However, the company took what I had typed in already and proceeded to send me an acknowledgement of "my order number" This is a ripoff and scan of the highest caliber. You have to give the information up front of credit card and address before being allowed to see shipping and handling. Do not fall for this. I of course replied that I did not hit SUBMIT and I will be contacting my credit card company and refuse any boxes sent.

You think it's bad now....

What they don't tell you on the infomercial is that you have to pay $29.95 s&h on the FIRST PIC and then $39.95 s&h on the 2nd one. This s&h is NON-refundable. You say you canceled your order but they're sending it out to you? When you send it back you will lose that $69.90 you paid for shipping.
If that's not bad enough, if you agreed to take the "free" pans, that's ANOTHER $69.95 s&h you won't be getting back. If you didn't take the pans there's a chance your PIC's won't work anyway because you have to have a special pan for the PIC to work. Again, that is never stated in the infomercial.
Also, and this is the greatest part, you won't be getting both of your PIC's. They've been on back order for a long time. They're going to send you ONE PIC (I guarantee the website didn't tell you that) and you will get a note with your shipment saying the other PIC is on back-order. Customers have been waiting over a month for their second PIC and the customer service number is a bogus number that no one will EVER answer. They're screwing people left and right.
Sorry you had to be one of them.
