I had a flat tire on my Ducati Diavel about 2 months ago. I unfortunately chose to use NYC Choppers to replace the tire as opposed to my Ducati dealer who is 50 miles away. Nick picked up my bike and took it to his shop which is less than 3 miles from my house. I didn't hear anything from him after that despite calling several times. He kept telling me he was waiting for the tire to ship. I then realized that he had charged my credit card the he had on file from a previous service performed on a different bike for 1700 dollars without informing me or obtaining my authorization. When I called him to ask him about this he became extremely loud and offensive over the phone. He told me he didn't need my authorization because he had a work order!!! He also said that I can dispute the charges with my credit card company but he has my bike under lock and key and he would not release it. I looked up online to see how much this rear tire costs and I found it on multiple websites for about 180 dollars!! I just want this guy exposed for the thief and conman that he is so he can't vicitimize any other unsuspecting consumers like myself. As far as my ordeal, I will let my attorney handle it because my time is too valuable to waste it on a looser crook like Nick.

So after almost 3 months of back and forth with American Express. They finally resolved my dispute with this a*hole. They credited my account and closed the claim. What does this piece of s* do? He puts the charges through again. I have no idea how this happened since I have requested for him to be blocked and not be able to put any more charges through my credit card 2 months ago!!!! So now I have to start the whole process all over again. Unbelievable!!! This guy is worse than syphillis. Just a f* a parasite.

Update to my nightmare
AUTHOR: Dr. M - ()

So this is my update. Ever since I filed this report initially, I have been struggling just to get my bike back from this crook. He was holding my bike hostage, demanding that I rescind my initial report in effect black mailing me not to expose him. When that didn't work he started threatning me over the phone. He said he has no problem "breaking my bones" and that he knows where I live and he's gonna "send over some guys to take care of me". Yes that's what this sorry excuse for a human being is doing to me. Finally I had to get the Southampton Police Department involved. I had to go there with the police and even then he was giving them a hard time. He spent over an hour just arguing with them before he admitted the bike was not even at his shop. He said he was "storing it at a friend's house in Sag harbor" !!!!! The police then escorted him to the friend's house where he finally released the bike. The bike had 150 mile more on the odometer than when I dropped it off. So on top of everything he's been joyriding my bike!! I never thought I would have to resort to these extreme measures just to recover my own property. But you live and learn. I guess there are a lot of low life thieves like Nick everywhere. You just have to learn to avoid them.
