Modesto Martinez is a thief who 5 years ago was operating scam under name Rentasy. Martinez was collecting advance fees, then sending the poor desperate souls to American Plaza, (Dominicanos) who dont speak any English & they have hand out for more DINERO $$$$$. The State caught Martinez defrauding room seekers and he got hammered BIG TIME. Guy's name is Modesto Esterlin Martinez, to report him, contact the NYS, Department of State @ 212-417-5790 or the NYS Attorney General @ 212-416-8000. Martinez is scamming now using the website name nycityrooms.com. I was looking for a room recently, and when I got to the nycityrooms.com office @ 421 West 33rd Street, Suite 1015, I discovered it was Martinez. Martinez and his female cohort (Jasmine) just collect an advance fee, then they just send the victim to American Plaza @ 3834 Broadway (uptown Manhattan), and this THIRD WORLD HUSTLER @ American Plaza wants another $150.00 up front fee too! At the nycityrooms.com office, Martinez tried to get an advance fee from me and send me uptown to American Plaza; then it came back to me that it was the same con artist chiseler that was the subject of a Fox 5 News Report for ripping everyone Blqcks & Hispanics for $150.00 advance fees and then just sending the victims to another agency that charges another advance fee. Steer clear of this Con Artist!
