Nyx Cosmetics advertised a 12 year anniversary sale would take place on sunday, may 15, 2011. The sale was to include all of their single items (no sets or large items included) for a price of $1.20. I tried and tried to paticipate in this sale (for d**n near 24 hours) with absolutely no luck at all.

The site was completly inaccessible for hours, no one could get on the site. It crashed and was flooded due to the thousands of people looking to cash in on such an amazing offer. The company just told us to be patient and keep trying.

Well i tried for hours and hours! and nothing! Nyx announced the plan to extend the sale to make up for the site crash and lost sale hours. after 14 hours, i was finally able to log on to the site, only to find out i would be stuck on the checkout page for up to 40 minutes, only to be kicked off the site again.

Early monday morning (may 16) about 7 am, i was finally able to get everything i wanted added to my cart and tried the check out process once again with no luck! needless to say i was more than pissed! so dissapointed.

And what upsets me the most is the fact that Nyx Cosmetics thinks that by offering a 50% off coupon code, that will make everything all better. The items in my cart added up to about $40 with the $1.20 sale.

Now, that all the prices are back to normal, the items in my cart are well over $200! so the 50% is a slap in the face. i am so upset and dissapointed with this company! this is not fair, hours and hours on their site and they seem to not even care.

and they think giving us 50% off is enough to make us happy! h**l no! this isn't right!
