OAN Services - Nationwide Conn ripoff Illegal Charge Nationwide

My Latest bill from SBC Communication Inc (local phone company) included a charge on behalf of "Nationwide Conn., Inc".

Neither my wife nor I have accepted ANY collect phone calls on our home number, therefore this charge is erroneous.

On Jan 31, 2005 I was charged $6.80 for a 8.6 minute call from Mason City IA. We were not at home that evening as we were at a birthday party for my father-in-law.

We do not know anyone in Iowa, none of my family is traveling, therefore, there is no reason for me to accept charges for a call placed from Iowa.

Someone working for Nationwide Conn., Inc is providing local and long distance phone companies with false information about calls that either never were made or ware to answering machines.

I immediately contacted SBC Communications and rebutted the billing from this company.

Everyone needs to watch the phone bills closely for illegal billing actions.
